Refund policy
At Prolink Performance, we understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. We aim to make the returns and warranty process as smooth as possible. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
WARRANTIES
We stand by the quality of our products and adhere to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 for private use purchases. For business or commercial use, warranties are not offered unless specifically agreed upon in writing.
If you experience a fault with a product, please contact us as soon as possible with as much detail as you can provide about the issue. This will help us resolve the matter quickly.
Important Warranty Conditions:
- All products must be installed by a qualified professional (e.g., a mechanic or auto electrician). Warranty claims will not be accepted without proof of professional installation (e.g., receipts, mechanic's report).
- Warranties cover the product itself only. We are not responsible for any associated costs, including freight, labor, or any other additional expenses.
- Warranty does not cover misuse, breakage, or physical damage to the product. Faulty and damaged products are distinct issues.
RETURNS
Returns will be assessed on a case by case basis, and must be approved before any items can be returned to us.
- Contact us at sales@prolinkperformance.co.nz to discuss your return. Please provide images where necessary.
- Returns must be initiated within 14 days of the original purchase date.
- If you receive a damaged or defective item please contact us immediately.
- Change of mind is not a valid reason for return or order cancellation.
- Clearance Items are non refundable.
- A 20% restocking fee applies to all accepted returns for exchange.
- No returns are accepted on special order items (non-stock items) or sale items.
- We are not responsible for incorrect part selection. Please ensure you choose the correct part for your vehicle or application. Contact us if you are unsure.
Return Eligibility:
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase (receipt) is required. Do not return items directly to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds:
Partial refunds may be granted in certain situations, such as when the item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts due to reasons not attributable to Prolink Performance Ltd.
REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Please note, some products may need to be inspected by the original manufacturer and may take longer to process. Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 5 business days.
If your return is rejected, you are responsible for return shipping costs. You have 30 days to arrange and pay for collection; otherwise, the item will be destroyed. This is non-negotiable.
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Late or Missing Refunds:
If you haven't received your refund within 5 days of confirmation, please check your bank account, then contact your credit card company and bank. If you still haven't received the refund, contact us at sales@prolinkperformance.co.nz.
Sale Items:
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable and all sales are final.
Exchanges:
We only exchange defective or damaged items. Products cannot be exchanged for change of mind.

Shipping
You are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a tracked courier service. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
